AND THEY ASK IF IT’S TRUE THAT I HAD SEX AFTER:

THEN THEY SAY PEOPLE ARE SPREADING RUMORS SO I’M LIKE:

THEN THEY ASK:

SO I SAY:

THEN THEY MAKE A BIG DEAL OVER IT SO I’M JUST LIKE:

OTHER PEOPLE WERE KISSING TO AND EVERYONE WAS LIKE:

BUT WHEN I GET A KISS EVERYONE IS LIKE:

SO NOW I JUST LOOK AT THEM LIKE:

If you always do what you’ve always done, then you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten. So, shouldn’t we step out of our comfort zones every once in a while? I mean, sure, life will happen on it’s own; you can sit on your ass in a room with a TV and continue breathing and you’ll be fine. But in order to live, to really live, don’t you need to go out and grab life by the balls? Really make it happen. Make it happen in ways that it wouldn’t usually occur on it’s own. Look a stranger deep into his or her eyes. Give a homeless man a handshake. Go for a walk with someone who you haven’t talked to in years. Have a picnic with your loved one. Share an ice cream cone with your dog. Run, physically run as far as you can away from your house, so you’re forced to also walk that same distance. Take your parents kayaking. Make a painting for your brother. Spend your Spring Break with your sister, her husband, her dog, and their new baby girl. Okay, you don’t have to do exactly what I do, but these are all things that have made me a genuinely happy individual in the past year. And none of them are hard. They’re just.. thoughtful. They’re things that matter a lot more than the effort that goes into them. Just remember: if you always do what you’ve always done, then you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.
